How to Apply

1. File VA Form 21-526EZ (Application for Disability Compensation)

2. Include medical evidence linking disability to service

3. VA will schedule Compensation & Pension (C&P) exam

Education & Training Benefits

GI Bill Benefits

Post-9/11 GI Bill: Up to 100% tuition + $2,000+ monthly stipend

Monthly Housing Allowance: Based on location (2026: $1,000-$2,700+)

VR&E (Vocational Rehabilitation & Employment)

For service-connected disabled vets: 48 months of paid training, job coaching, tuition assistance

Approved Schools

Universities, community colleges, vocational schools, apprenticeships, online programs

20-year+ veterans or 100% disabled get monthly supplement
